A rising star of Spanish wine, Diego Magaña is one of Rioja’s most talented winemakers, crafting precise, elegant wines at Dominio de Anza — natural charmers that are instantly appealing.

A protégé of Raúl Pérez, he belongs to this new generation of Rioja producers who can hold their own against the best of Bierzo.

With very old vines planted at over 500 meters of altitude and meticulous “French-style” aging in large oak barrels, Diego Magaña focuses on every detail to bring out the best of each terroir. Praised by Parker, his success is now lighting up the wine world and his reputation continues to soar.
