Born from a 2.80-hectare plot of quartz, mica-schist, and gneiss soils, with vines planted in 1974, the 2023 Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Vera Cruz White delivers remarkable saline intensity alongside a radiant floral and sea-breeze character. This is a stunning food-friendly white of great stature, with a generous, textured palate that manages to be both invigorating and soothing. Exceptionally precise, it opens up with ripe citrus notes, impressive volume, and a beautifully poised balance. A superb expression of Muscadet at its finest. Rated 94/100 by both our Selection Committee and La Revue du Vin de France, France’s most respected wine magazine.

A flagship name of the Loire Valley and awarded 2 stars by the RVF (La Revue du Vin de France, France’s most prestigious wine magazine), the Luneau-Papin family has mastered the art of crafting age-worthy Muscadets—wines of purity, finesse, and striking freshness that rival the region’s very best.

Today, Pierre-Marie and Marie Luneau-Papin carry on the legacy with remarkable energy, further refining the identity of their terroirs through traditional aging in underground concrete vats and, at times, amphorae.

Biodynamic practices, precision, and an unwavering attention to detail drive their vision—elevating the estate to the very top of the Muscadet hierarchy.
