The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A long-standing favourite in our selections, Montfaucon is a key name in the southern Rhône Valley—so it was only natural for us to join forces with this exceptional estate to create a custom Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

This bespoke cuvée was crafted under the close supervision of our Tasting Committee. We’re proud to be the first to collaborate with Rodolphe and Léon de Pins on this ambitious project.

Sourced from superb terroirs of rolled pebbles and clay, on a plot teeming with biodiversity, this wine meets the highest standards of quality—yet comes at a remarkably accessible price for an appellation where value like this has become almost impossible to find.
Wine The 2021 Red Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a beautifully balanced blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre, sourced from 50-year-old vines and aged for one year in 228-litre Burgundy barrels, with no new oak. Enhanced by the freshness of the vintage, it delivers a harmonious interplay of delicate spice, cherry liqueur, floral notes, and the richness of perfectly ripened flavours, all woven into a fine, intense, and elegant structure. A delightful wine to enjoy now, with the balance to age gracefully. Awarded 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested from 50-year-old vines. Vinification in concrete vats. Matured for 12 months in Burgundy barrels.
