The estate and the wine |
Known for offering impressive quality for the price, Ferraton is one of the most sought-after names in the northern Rhône Valley. The estate has built a reputation for wines with remarkable depth — expressive from the start, yet built to age with style — making it an essential reference in the region.
On the legendary slopes of Hermitage, Ferraton continues to play a leading role, producing bold, expressive wines that capture the heart of the terroir. And none more so than this single-parcel wine — subtle, striking, and unmistakably Hermitage. |

Produced from the appellation's finest plots, notably Méal and Dionnières, the 2021 red Hermitage Les Miaux express all the nuances of these great terroirs. The nose opens with beautiful aromas of ripe fruit, abundant black fruits, with hints of soot. The palate is already tender and juicy, sustained by tannins rounded by ageing. A voluptuous ensemble that can be enjoyed now or over five to eight years for connoisseurs. Rated 93/100 by the Committee and 94/100 RVF. |
